The P.I.N.K. Method

I saw a Dr. Phil show about The P.I.N.K. Method and it looks very realistic and doable for someone who has a more significant amount of weight to lose. I was curious to know if anyone here has tried it and if so, what did you think?

What does the acronym stand for?

What is the method? I looked at the website. It's 70 bucks for a couple of dvds and a recipe for fat burning soup (which there are a lot of floating around), but, I couldn't tell what else was involved in the plan. Do you know what else is involved?

Can I suggest you search for P.I.N.K here on the forums - it has been done to death over the last few days - 11 pages of results....

And as far as I can see most says "Scam"...

"Power, Intensity, Nutrition, Kardio". It's a fitness/nutrition plan specifically for women.

It comes with a 240 page nutrition manual, and has a few different phases to keep you from plateauing.

I saw the show too and had a laugh -out-loud moment when it was announced that the "K" stood for "Kardio!" Gimme a break! Dr. Phil ought to be ashamed for whoring his show out so cheaply.......

It's just another fad diet promoted by a celebrity. Nothing special about it and it promotes and unhealthy rate of weight loss.

You don't need to spend $80 to lose weight. MFP is free and it works. You have all the tools and information you need right here. Just do a simple search on the forums or check out the Unofficial MFP FAQ.

I just saw it on the Doctors. IDK, I started with ChaLEAN Extreme and loved it and had amazing results. All modifiable for sure. Eating is key, then weights & cardio. Kardio w/ a K, just awful, I agree.

I also got the impression that there was only 1 workout on each DVD, which is not a lot for variety. They also seem to do a lot of fast upper body work with weights, which can cause a range of soft tissue injuries. And that push-up/plank move looks WAY advanced for most beginners.

I really agree with you, you dont have to pay ANYONE for YOU to lose weight (unless you want to) This site is free , tells you what to do and if you have any questions you an ask people and get some great advice. Celebrties think us "normal" people are so into them, they are regular people, not gods...They are always endorsing something !
