I switched one of my gym memberships today to one that had childcare due to the fact that my two small grandchildren have moved in with me. I had been in about a month before to check it out. When I was there before the guy was asking me about where I work out and what I do. I do a lot of different things because I enjoy them. In addition to regular workouts, I cycle, ballroom dance, run and take aikido. Not on the same day, mind you.

So I go back in today to start my membership and I was all kinda...icky..because I had just come from crossfit. He looks at me and goes, "Oh I remember you. You're the one that works out too much. Have you cut back yet?" Uh..way to get on my good side. He insists that I have adrenal fatigue. From what i've read, It hasn't even been proven to be an actual thing. The jury is still out on that. He sits down to do my paper work and whips this little bottle out of his desk drawer and proceeds to tell me its a supplement. Something made from deer antler fuzz or fur, or fluff or something. He says it's great for adrenal fatigue and its just very beneficial and I should try it. I thought supplements were for things that are lacking in your diet. I'm probably pretty deficient in antler fuzz of any kind because I rarely eat it. I'm also deficient in tortoise toe nails. But I think I'm gonna pass. And I think I'll give this guy lots of space when I go to the gym.

I don't consume deer antler fuzz, either. I probably won't survive the night.

    Anyway, he's an idiot.

for the record, deer antler fuzz (velvet) is soooo stinky when its fresh. It actually makes me dry heave thinking about it, let alone thinking about consuming it!

You made me LOL! Thanks for sharing! :) Hey, I must have burned some calories laughing,... Can I count that as Exercise?
Anyway, sounds like a good plan to politely avoid that guy. People like that are using up too much oxygen when they get close.

Well it is the holiday season. I would have asked where the rest of the animal was because I would get more suplement from that and then asked for the manager to complain about the unsolicited attempt of sale. I have never had any gym/program try and peddle goods unsolicited to me.
