I want to wear sexy boots!

You know the kind that go over the calves and maybe a pair of hooker boots that go to the thigh? I love them but last time I tried them on I couldn't get them to zip lol. To me my legs don't look big, and the last time I tried them on though I was over 200lbs, so maybe just maybe my legs shrinked a little? I never thought I had big legs, I have noticed they have firmed up a lot, but my question is, how can we get these legs of mine in some nice boots?
My birthday is in March, and I plan on being at least 150 by then, my husband is taking me on a mini vacation like maybe to Austin and I'd love love love to wear some sexy boots lol.

Just keep trying on tall boots until you find a pair that fit.0

Ive always wanted to wear boots too, but my calves are really big and probably wont ever allow it. Im 7lbs away from my goal and still dont fit into them, But on a good note they are all muscle. LOL.0

OMG... I know, they are fab! I bet you will look amazing in them, as a matter of fact have you tried them recently because I am sure they would look great now? It sounds like you havent tried them in awhile...imagine that feeling when you can wear them! It will be AMAZING! But I say give them a try now! I cant wait to wear boots like that!0

Girl I want to wear sexy boot too!! I have to same problem and it sucks a little now that it is getting cold and thats what everyone is wearing. Hopefully we both will get into them this year!!0

No I haven't, but tomorrow I'm going to the mall, more window shopping then anything but I might for fun try them on lol.0

I have this problem for life. No matter my size. I discovered it in middle school. Most boots do not go over my calves, even the one with extenders. Proportionally speaking my calves don't match my sho size. 6 1/2 to 7 depending on how fat I am. Steve Maddens have been good to me in the past, and I found one from Aerosolesl with extenders. Generally I get boots that come up to the calf. Sucks though that i am limited #sigh.0

It's damn hard to find a boot that fits a calf properly. The easiest way is to find a pair of lace up boots (that have a zipper as well), and that will give you some wiggle room.0

Mine don't fit me at 165 but they do at 150.0

You will have to let us know how it goes tomorrow! Good luck!0

I have a pair in my closet that don't fit me, but I am determined in 30 days to get them baby's on! I just recently bought a pair of the tall UG boots that fit me perfectly.0

I think the "standard" calf size for boots is around 14-15 inches, though I'm sure there's huge amounts of variation in that. I only recently have been able to fit into tall boots (I'm SO excited, I've been waiting for this, too! I have a pair shipping to me now, hehe). As with most things, every person's body is going to be different. My calves had the same measurements until a few weeks ago when I noticed a change. I've been doing a lot of running these days, so that could have something to do with it.
Anyways, hope you can find some sexy boots that fit! If not, don't despair - there are a bunch of websites that sell wide-calf boots, so you could probably find something there!!0 -

Aw, well don't get discouraged! I still say go try some on, because some have lots of give to them, and some you can expand a bit. If the first few you try on aren't fitting, ask the clerk if they have any that are adjustable or have naturally wider widths. And if not... online shopping! (No need to even put on pants! :glasses:) Good luck!!0 -
Good luck shopping! I hope you find something fabulous.
I did want to throw out there that if things are still too tight, there are fabulous options on jessicalondon.com for larger calf sizes. I bought a pair of purple suede boots a couple years ago, and they are still my favorites.0 -
I googled for some boots, found these http://www.onestopplus.com/clothing/Womens-Funtasma-Lust-3000.aspx?PfId=241831&DeptId=19722&ProductTypeId=1 OMG I want! and the price is pretty cheap for those kind of boots. My only thing is I like to try on to make sure they fit my foot, I can wear different sizes, all my shoes fit different lol.0

Zappos has wide calf boots - so does Macys. That's where I got mine. I am super excited that they now look like crap on me - more like garbage bags than sexy - so I'm hoping I can get back into normal calf boots now
Not knowing what size the rest of you is - so please don't take offense - but I hear Lane Bryant and Rampage are good resources for wide calf boots!0 -
yeah...lots of companies/brands offer wide-calf boots now. also some standard brands have boots with wider calves. i have pretty muscular legs and have always had trouble with boots over my calves especially if i want to fit my jeans in there as well! good luck.0

Try Fredericks and Woman Within. I got some from there and at 212 they fit me just fine.0

I just ordered some boots off QVC that are made for bigger calves. Even when I was smaller I couldn't find boots that would zip. I ordered them yestrerday.0

Jeeze I'd never ben able to walk in those. I'm soooo clutzy! LOL0

Lol, I wear 7 inch heals a lot. Well since I've lost 70lbs, they don't hurt my feet like they did when I was over 200lbs, I think the weight has a lot to do with it. I love them but people call them stripper shoes, but I love them I feel sexy in them.0

well the weight doesn't help, and it doesn't help I had my hip replaced when I was 19 either. lol0
