Anyone drink Vega Whole Food Optimizer?

I have decided to re-kickstart this thing I'm trying to accomplish... I had hoped to get to my goal of another 20lbs lost by the end of the year, but have stalled. My weight has fluctuated up and down a bit over teh month of November, (+1, -2, +2 etc) I haven't been the most disciplined about food, I was really focused on moving... (I don't expect to lose the 20lbs in the month, but I sure would like to see the scale go down 5-10lbs)
So today I've started the 'original' Vega challenge. (Back when the product was first launched there was a challenge for reps. and store staff to replace two meals a day with this complete meal replacement smoothie and have a sensible dinner and snacks to see the changes in 30 days) I had a berry smoothie for breakfast, and I've planned all my meals for the day (I find it easier to stick to a plan), I've included 2 snacks of an apple and a 100cal pkg. of nut mix and a dinner of roasted veggies and pasta. With exercise I plan to do I will be under my calorie goal by about 750 today.
What do you suggest? Should I go with it, or do I need to have something else?
Your input is appreciated.

tore up my stomach if I have more than one serving per day - too much fiber and whatever else in there that was too much for me. Good luck though - if I was to substitute a meal or two, I'd do one with a Vega serving and one with a whole whey protein one.0

I take it every day, but only 1.5 scoops once a day. It DOES have a lot of fiber in it, and the standard '2 scoop' serving contains enough of the vitamins, minerals and other nutrients required that you don't need to have more than that. It was designed for vegan atheletes as an alternative supplement, and I personally find it a lot easier to digest and more natural tasting than the majority of whey protein powder out there as it is also rice based. Obviously any smoothie supplement that you take needs to be combined with the right exercise regime, and vega seems to work best as something to take right before (for energy) or right after (for muscle repair) a workout. While these supplements are wonderful and can definitely aid in weight loss (especially cutting stomach fat) be careful of over-doing them - your body still needs real food (ideally low fat protein and lots of fresh dark greens) for nutrient absorption. When I was really trying to cut down I would take it as my evening meal - even when you blend it with some fruit (frozen berries) and low fat soy milk, it still comes in at only about 350 cals which isn't bad. Good luck!0
