Meal replacement shakes

Has anyone compared the difference between Beachbody's Shakeology and Herbalife's Healthy Meal? If not, what other shake do you use and what attracted you to it?

    Total fan of Herbalife. I have not personally tried the Shakeology but I have a friend who has and she says that Herbalife is much better as far as flavor and she even said that Herbalife has more variety.

    Shakeology is very overpriced.

    I use Optimum Nutrition brand (chocolate mint flavor) and take a multivitamin. Delicious, just as good, and saves me money!

    i've only been drinking shakeology so can't compare to the other but i would NOT give up my chocolate shakeology!! :)

    Are you talking about Optimum Nutrition's Whey protein powder? I've never tried it but have recently heard numerous people say they love the chocolate mint flavor!

    The chocolate mint is my favorite flavor. Tastes like thin mint girl scout cookies when mixed with milk :]

    Herbalife for sure...All Natural 114 vitamins 20 minerals all sorts of flavors. They also have allergen free product for those who are allergic to milk, soy or gluten. And the satiety is increadible. Feel full for hours. the good thing about this program is that its is a personized program and you can use it in many ways! Wide variety of suppliment and woman health products. Highly recommend you work with a distributor that is well knowledge and has had excellent results using the program nutritionally correct.

    I love the gnc lean shake and click espresso mocha, they both have loads of vitamins and minerals (1 scoop and 1scoop) blender bottle and freeze for about an hour or blender with a few ice cubes!!!

    Yea that stuff is crazy expensive :X i certainly don't recommend!

    Thank you! I'm going to look into this. I already have an account with netrition.com and i love them. they ship super fast overseas and pack really good. Thanks again for the suggestion! I'm all for something being cheaper!! I don't mind paying the money but if I can find an alternative - I'm all for it. lol

    Shakeology is priced based on the nutrition that's inside it. You get what you pay for. I haven't tried other shakes, but Shakeology makes me feel REALLY good. It reduces my cravings throughout the day, it helps keep me balanced, and I never have to worry about not getting the right nutrition, which is a common problem when restricting calories.

    I use Herbalife and have had great results! So easy, you just have two shakes a day, with protein snacks and a reasonable dinner. They taste good and fill you up. I was a total skeptic, but have been won over.

    I agree. Shakeology is good but very overpriced! Thanks for the infor on the other shakes. I'm going to look into those! I use the GNC Lean Shakes and they aren't bad either!

    lol i know this is going to sound "trendy" i suppose. I have a friend who did the body by Vi and let me try one of her shakes. I love them! I use them for replacing my lunch meal and it tastes amazing.. there are 200 different recipes so you can have any flavor... and the powder itself is just 90cal. :)

    I use body by Vi. It tastes amazing! I have never been so energized. The great thing about it is that they come with flavor packets. So everyday you can change the flavor or just drink it plain. Either way they are so yummy. I drink one for breakfast and one for lunch. I have lost 10 pounds so far. You can get a 30 day supply for about $47.

    Thank you everyone for helping. Personally I do love the way I feel with Shakeology. I don't LOVE the flavor like everyone would hope for but that is because it isn't loaded with sugar (only 11g) or Cholesterol (only 10 mg) and has 15 g of protein.

    From what I know,

    Shakeology packs a huge punch with 70+ healthy ingredients all in one packet therefore you can eliminate your mulit-vitamin and feel great with just one shake a day for (Bag is $120 with 30 servings -=$4 or $120 for 24 packets = $5)

    Herbalife believes that you should get your vitamins with each meal therefore you have to take their vitamins 3 times a day to get a full dose and you drink their shakes 2 times a day. Their Healthy Meal shake only has 20 vitamins, 0 cholesterol, and has 9 g of protein. I can’t find how many servings are in a canister but the packets are $1.71 per packet x 2 times per day so that is $3.42. And you will need the Mutlivitamin for $20.95 for 30 days = $.70 per day. So $4.12 per day

    I am really trying to learn here...Some people believe that your body can not absorb all the vitamins at once there you "waste" most of them. The price difference is comparable so I am trying to decide which is actually BETTER FOR my body.

    I will be honest that I haven't looked into Body by Vi, GNC, or Optimum Nutrition brand but I do think that the shake that you choose varies based on your goals.

    I love love love Visalus... you save money and get just as much nutrition if not more than what you have listed. 75gr of sodium and 90 calories? You are not stuck in one flavor.

    Soy protein is a lot better than just whey. Visalus is Soy Isolate with a bit of whey and it is just like cake mix. Love it.

    Whey has a much greater bioavailability and a better amino acid profile.
