Blister help!

I got these from boxing on Wednesday (same blisters on the other hand too). I'm going to workout again today and since they are open blisters I want to cover them. Band aids will just slide off from the sweat, but how can you tape that joint and still have the ability to bend them, so they fit in the glove and I can make a fist?
(i hope i uploaded the picture correctly)

I would actually use some medical tape to tape a thin piece of gauze with some antibacterial gel onto the blisters. The tape seems to hold pretty well with sweat. Do you use wraps too? If not try using some wraps it might help too.0

I agree...gauze and medical tape...good luck!0

I am glad you sent a picture...I think you aren't wrapped right and/or you are punching incorrectly...those knuckles should not be hurting. Maybe your gloves aren't fitting right too...I would check w/Title trainers again and show them, maybe they will be able to advise you. but those knuckles should be protected by the wraps and by the padded part of your gloves. My callouses are on the bottom knuckles which are the knuckles that are actually hitting the bag...as for the current blisters, I would use ointment and gauze/bandage and if you want to go to class, make sure they are wrapped really good...I hope this helps a little, but I would definitley check w/ the trainers...the trainers at my gym can immediately look at you and know what you are doing/not doing to help...0

I bought some bandaid type things ment for blisters at target. They kind of sink into the blister and help it heal and tehy stay one for about 48 hours eeven in the shower. they worked really well on my ankle and heel. tape might be better on you knucles while you are working out.0

I use wraps but they only come up to the bottom of that knuckle. Ill try the gauze and tape, hopefully it wont be to painful punching the heavy bad.0

Do you have the regular cloth wraps or the gel wraps?0 -
I would bandage it up and protect it and use antibacterial gel and once that is all done, use DUCT tape!! It will stay in place and will be comfortable. I have always done this with blisters on the back of my heels, it works well.0

Regular cloth, the Mexican ones i think. When I signed up they gave me the pink gloves and wraps. So could be that the gloves are new? When I showed the trainer what happened after class he said "yea i get blisters too, your fingers just need to get tough" so he wasn't much help. Ill go in early before class when they're not busy to ask them what's going on.0

I have the pink gloves too! It could be the new gloves and they are rubbing wrong on the wraps which is rubbing your knuckles...I cover those knuckles too w/the wraps.
Let me know what they say...surely they will have advice for you...0 -
I used some padded adhesive bandages on a blister on the side of my foot--like what they call a duoderm-and they really stuck well and I was able to continue walking without pain or further damage. Not sure about the flexibility tho.0

That's a tough spot to bandage, especially given the dynamic nature of the hand during a bag session. Cover with NewSkin and wrap each knuckle with gauze strips. Make sure to make contact more with the upper knuckles, even if that means slowing down a bit.
I like the enthusiasm but consdier taking a few days off to prevent re-opening the wounds.0 -
Thought i'd leave a blister update. Trainers gave me new gloves, helped me with my technique and told me to take a week off The good news is i found AMAZING band-aids that stay in place (even during a workout and shower) and are specifically for finger and toe blisters. They are called BAND_AID advanced healing blister for fingers and toes. Work great! Hopefully i'll heal up and be good for some more boxing next week!0
