Hey guys I had a quick question.
Ok so i lost 35lbs and i went from about 145lbs to 105lbs.. Ive been maintaining my weight around 105-107lbs and I noticed my legs-butt and thighs-now jiggle more than ever. What the heck! I dont understand.. Ive been a little relaxed on my diet so I can maintain and not lose anymore, I dont eat AS strict as I did when I was trying to lose. But I am not working out either. Should I go back to eating strict or should I just add exercise? My butt and legs are the issue lol. But Im afraid to work my legs because I have HUGE calf muscles from running track as a sprinter and playing soccer years ago, Im so scared of developing them further or getting "cankles" Suggestions? Exercises I could do? Id love to slim my calves if it were possible. My husband comes home in a month and Id love to tone up some of the jiggle on my butt, inner, and out thigh areas.
THANKS!!

Squats, lunges, leg extensions. Yes, go ahead and exercise. Maybe limit your carbs a bit and up your protein. I don't think it's a good idea to quit exercise once you reach your goals. You need find a heatlhy eating and exercise range to maintain. Also, I wouldn't worry about developing cankles or putting on much mass in your calves. Just continue to workout and don't over eat and you shouldn't put on too much muscles. From what I understand it is very difficult for a woman to put on muscles, especially if you aren't trying to do so.0

exercise more, your muscles are turning to fat as we speak and you can eat nothing all day but youll still be a jiggly skinny person; you need to make your muscles taut and the only way to do that is to WORK EM, GURLLL0

Both diet and exercise. Continue eating clean because sodium will sit in your skin and you'll notice that bloat and jiggle effect in them unfortunately You dont have to go nuts, but exercise regularly enough to keep your body tone. I know you posted a topic about a month or so ago in regards to what workouts to do for buns, thighs, legs not sure if you have tried Jillian Michaels Killer Buns & Thighs but that is one hell of a dvd! I've been doing it for a couple months now and my booty is tight, round, lifted and my legs ang thighs (all those lower body problem areas) are in the best shape that I've ever had them! The dvd is only $9 at Target or Walmart so its a great deal! Good luck!0

just add strength training to get firm. you want to eat clean too, but focus on toning/adding muscle. you look fabulous!0

i had to take off two months from exercise because i had a breast augmentation so im just now getting back to the point where i can start running and working out! still no push ups0

i would say don't even bother with the running except for maybe some HIIT sprints twice a week since you don't want to lose any more weight. just weight train. if you feel like you always need cardio in your workouts (like i do) do a circuit that gets your heart rate up and down.0

exercise more! and go for dancing and yoga for the more lean looking muscle and less bulk.0

I would like to add my voice to the chorus of folks suggesting yoga. It has been a lynchpin in my weight loss. If you are up for it, also you should consider adding pilates, as a strong core is a safety net to long term health :-)0

I would suggest the jilliam michaels buns and thighs workout dvd. I am currently doing her 30 day shred and have only done the buns and thighs once because the 30 day shred is killer also (I do suggest that one). But when I tried doing the buns and thighs DVD I couldnt even make it half way through it. It was working my thighs and butt so well I was in pain. But if you can keep up with it then it will definitely tone up for you and you wont have that jiggle!
GOOD LUCK!0 -
