Learning to be okay with me and my weight loss

So I've decided to show pictures of my weight loss, granted its only 10 lbs but hey its something. I have a huge issue with having my picture taken, I hate it. Mainly I hate it because it shows me what my body is, not what I think I see in the mirror. I am trying to be honest with myself and how I do look. I figure in order to do that, I have to have my picture taken and look at them objectively even if its a small change at least I can look back and see those changes, by allowing my photo to be taken.

These are two before pictures, really the only two pictures I have had taken in a year :(

I cannot see that you can possibly have 45 lbs to go. You'll weigh nothing! You look nicely curved already. ...and those biceps aren't yours are they?

I thought your before was your after until I read further.

There's no way you can afford 45 more lbs after reviewing your after pic. You look too good.

    Get your bodyfat tested

For a women, you might have another 9% unless you are trying to be an elite athlete. 9% of 175-ish is only 16lbs.

Well I don't know about an elite athlete, but the goal is to be at basically a bikini competion body weight. On here they are saying a healthy BMI is between 18.5 and 25 currently it says on here that I am at 25.8. And a healthy weight range is between 125 and 162 so I figured in order to get to competition size I need to be around 130, with that being said if I feel that I am getting to skinny than I will change my goal at that point :)

I confess to agreeing with most in that I can't see where 45lbs are going to come from!!! A silly comment I know but don't forget muscle weighs more than fat, and that the the biggest single criticism of the BMI method is that it doesn't take account of the individual's muscle/fat ratio, ie well muscled people can have a high BMI and be in perfect health their high BMI score doesn't mean they are overweight!!!! :-)

I know that muscle weighs more than fat, the funny thing is my scale shows that I am losing bf and gaining muscle mass for every % that I lose in bf I gain in mm. I could try changing my scale to the athlete setting which is for people who train hard and see what happens. As far as the 45 lbs it comes from everywhere, I carry weight really well LOL. But honestly I just set that goal because I figured thats about where I need to be for the definition in my muscles that I am looking for, I don't know if that is realistic and I may have reconfigure my goal when I get closer to that weight
