elliptical NEW Vs. USED?

would you much rather just buy a new one or just search for a decent priced one used, say on CL.
i just bought a new treadmill and now i need an elliptical but debating on new or used.

    If you get it somewhere you can trust go for used. I just bought a new elliptical and I love it. I won my treadmill so it is new also. I did buy a used treadmill a few years ago and probably would not do that again.
