Interested to find out how often do you run each week and how far...?

  • Since I just started running, I do it about 3-4 times a week, normally about 1 1/2- 2 miles. sometimes 3 miles or so. now since I'm just starting out. I'm not really going for distance but trying to be consistent, i am also doing insanity.

    3-4x a week every other day (sometimes back to back). My goal is to run a marathon and so far I'm just about little bit less than halfway. Usually I run 4-5 miles and that lands me at 20 miles per week. Twice a month I run longer runs and try to beat my longest from the last 2 weeks. Today was a long run for me and I topped it out at 10.30miles although it took me about 6 months to get the stamina in endurance to run it. Increase mileage each week no higher than 10% unless of course you're going from 1mile then to 2 miles (which is fine). But once you're doing about 6+ miles do not go over 10% increases

    I started with the C25K program and could barely live through the first week. Now I run 3-4 times for a total milage of 15-20 miles. I've completed a triathlon and a few road races and have had a blast!

    I'm torn between c25k and Tabata Sprints....any advice?

    About 5 or 6 runs per week, always with hills on trails. 2 days are interval training for an hour each, and big runs are 2- 3 hrs on Sunday.
    It changes depending on upcoming races.
    40 -80k/week.

    I run, on average, about 25 miles per week, 5-6 days each week.

    Some days it is intervals, some are short runs, but usually on the weekend that is my long run day with my running buddy.

    Short runs are usually about 3-4 miles, long runs are 8-13 miles....

    Depends on what I am training for.
    Half marathon training... 4 days a week and roughly 25 miles.
    Nothing - 3-4 days a week and 15-20 miles.

    I need to find a marathon training plan and get to work.

    I'm about to start training for a marathon; 3-4 times a week, averaging 20-30 miles right now.
