Hi all, We are having friends over for a meal at the weekend and I need some ideas for low cal nibbles. I've got the main and the dessert sorted but the nibbles are evading me. I'm from England so I know you guys from over the pond probably have access to all sorts of really nice low cal nibble stuff but there is a derge here in the uk. Does anyone have any ideas of stuff I could make myself? Thanks everyone :flowerforyou:

The only thing I can think of is a fruit tray and veggie tray. You can cut it all up yourself and arrange them nicely on a plater. You can also so do an assortment of lower calorie cheese and whole grain crackers. It's nothing really fancy but I bet people will gobble it up.
Oh yeah, there are lots of nice low cal dips you can add to the veggie trays and even the fruit tray. Check out www.allrecipes.com and they have a ton of stuff on that site.

    Good luck!

Mixed nuts, fresh fruit and veggie tray. Don't make it just for yourself. Make it for all your friends.

You should check out foodnetwork.com. They have a healthy tab that has tons of good foods. I'm not sure if it lists the nutritionals but you could probably get that off each ingredient's package. Just a thought!
