Im 23, and im sick of being the BBW....."FAT GIRL" and "Bigger friend" ..... Hiding behind the words "Plus size".....its getting old and the more i use the words, and live the lifestyle , the more i let it take power over me (The weight), and keep getting bigger and bigger....im sick of it....and i would love to find friends....mentors....because i have alot of temptation around me im my home..my family...everyone is over weight....and its going to be hard...not to have anyone to lean on when needed.. so if your out there and u want a new buddie...men or women .. going on the walk to a healthier life and a better body ...feel free to message me and or add me ..
Thanks Bunches

I would be happy to help you get to fit and healthy...however I am a brutally honest person(honest but not mean or insulting) and I will tell you when I think you are not doing well. I am not one to say WTG without looking at your diet and exercise diary or to make you feel good. so if that is fine by you (some people can't take constructive criticism and get easily offended), please feel free to add me to your buddy list. If I don't hear back from you, I would like to wish you well and I hope you reach your goals! Take care!
  • good place to be, you won't find a better place to get support and motivation...good luck!

I need to hop on this bandwagon because I need a double dose of honesty. Experienced a major setback but I must turn this around.

I understand how you feel and I felt the same. I was a slim woman in a huge body, and I was uncomfortable. I still fell that fat or large people are very beautiful I just didn't like myself being that big.

First of all let me say you are a courageous person "to put it all out there" as you say. That is probably your first step. Second step, you joined MFP. You will find a lot of opportunities here to give and receive encouragement. You have come to the right place. Best wishes on your journey. :flowerforyou:

Feel free to add me if you like. I have a long journey, but you got to start somewhere. Im just under 300lbs...You can do this, eat still like a "normal" person but learn to be accountable for it. Good luck!
  • This has been an ongoing struggle for me, losing weight, but mostly keeping it off. I try to tell myself that all the yummy foods I want I can have periodically, that they'll be there when I want them, & I don't need to eat everything all at once! You CAN do it, just remember it's not something that starts & then you're done when you lose weight. You will indeed need to work on it always, it will be a challenge, but it's worth how good you'll feel about yourself for sticking w/ it!

I've been using this site along with EA Sports Active 2 for the Xbox, thus far going on 3 weeks and down 9 pounds. Keep it up the good work its all worth it in the end!
