So, I realized last night that my rings are much looser on my fingers. I know I didnt "lose weight" in my fingers, my rings are looser because of watching my sodium and drinking tons of water religiously. I haven't noticed too much difference any where else, but at least this is a good sign!

Believe it or not my hands and feet "shrink" when I lose weight. You have fat all over when you are heavy. Yes some is water but when you get down closer to normal weight its got to come off somewhere!! lol Keep up the good work!

Since starting my original weightloss beginning in late 2003 (see profile for full story), my fingers have slimmed down dramatically. My ring finger went from a size 8 to now a size 5! :noway:  I love having slender fingers because it's something I've never had. Lol. Oh, and my feet have gotten a size smaller too!

Like you said, it's a good sign! :drinker:

My fingers have done this too, but I am not going to have my wedding rings sized until I get to my goal weight.

Soo funny because I was just going to ask about this. My wedding bands are pretty loose! I can no longer wear them running or swimming or any activities at all because they might fall off! I want to wait to see how things go in the summer because I know my hands swell in the heat so, if they are still to loose I might get a sizer put in or something. I dont want to get them permanently sized because I am planning on getting pregrnant and I know so many women who cant wear their rings cause they swell when pregnant so Im thinking I may be able to ACTUALLY wear mine? hahaha... but they are definitely defintiely loose. My only saving grace is that I have big knuckles so that keeps them on!hahaha..

I'm still waiting to fit my wedding set on post-pregnancy. I haven't worn them since my second trimester (almost a year ago!). It's actually part of my goals on my profile.

I have just a plain gold band (inexpensive) but a really nice engagement ring. Normally I just wear my wedding band. My first one, the size 8, I seriously accidentally flung off my hand, across the room a couple of times. :noway: That convinced me that it was time to replace it with a smaller band (though I did keep the 8). And, I personally, through both of my pregnancies, didn't have swelling in my fingers...in my ankles, yes, fingers, no. lol.

I naturally swell in my fingers whether pregnant or not... like this morning, I woke up and they looked like little sausages. Now that I've had 2 bottles of water, they're looking much more normal. I've even been cutting way down on my sodium lately! And man, my ankles were like "cankles" by the end of my pregnancy. I can't wait for my rings to fly off like yours! Or maybe just fit!!!
