What should I do? What would YOU do??...

I ate half a pizza last night which brought my total calorie intake to maybe 800 calories over what I should have eaten. Should I forget about it and just continue, or eat 200 calories less each day for 4 days? I had a sneaky weigh-in this morning and I weigh 1lb less than I did when I had my proper weigh-in on Thursday (3 days ago). What would YOU do?

did you notice that the next day that you had your normal amount of calories for the day? Means that you just put it down to experience and learn from it for next time.:flowerforyou:
  • I would write it off as a free day and go on and enjoy your day tomorrow, which by my watch is today. :) We all have our times when we need just a little more, and thats ok, it is not a diet- it is a change of lifestyle. The way we eat, or chose not to eat. Don't punish yourslef with one days eating that you think will hurt you. It may help you. Look at it this way, experience the day without being quilty, and see what hqppens, many times your body kicks in and you lose two lbs...

You will be fine, just start your day out doing what you need to do. and go for it.

Forget about it & move on as normal. One day will not destroy or make you weight loss. :)

Don't eat less, but maybe do some extra cardio....and try to remember we're human. This isn't about being perfect all the time or a race to the finish. Weight will fluctuate, calories intake will fluctuate. Chalk it up as a lesson learned and for the record about the weigh in...sometimes after a bad day, I weigh less in the morning, but gain the next day. Our body doesn't turn food to fat instantly. It takes up to 72 hours for everything to settle in. That's why it can take me nearly a week to get back on track from a bad weekend.
