Hey every1. Ive been teaching english as a second language for the past two years. Before this i was in top shape, but now the belly's come out a little. I kinda blame my job for it, i finish at 11pm and have around two hours to jog before i sleep. But when i finish work, im usually starving and when i eat, it takes a while for my stomach to calm down before i start jogging.

I was advised not to train when hungry, so i have to eat before i exercise. help! :(

  • Is it possible to do your excercise in the morning? Or at lunchtime?

So can you have a protein snack before class or during, possibly even on your way to the gym. I always workout before dinner and often while hungry because that is the only time I am able to workout and honestly it is better than not working out at all. I don't get home until late and have dinner late. But I do try to have something small before going to the gym if at all possible. Do what works for your schedule, it will be much better than doing nothing.

I know it is hard for some to eat before they excerise but for me I find if I eat and wait about 30 mins then excersie it helps.

Have you tried getting just a little exercise in the afternoon instead of going all out? Maybe there is a point for you where exercising will actually give you extra energy instead of dragging you down, if you do just enough and not too much.
