Im going to get a new dvd today but I'm not sure which to try. I hear good things about 30 ds but I'm not sure if i am at the leverl where I can do it yet. I love belly dance i used to take class back in AZ but I dont have any videos on it. I looked both up in you tube and they both look fun. Only thing is you only get a little segment of each so it's hard to kno which to try. Any suggestions would be awesome. Thank you!

Go for the 30 DS first. There is a modifier, so you can adjust the moves to a level that's manageable for you. Plus, the strength-training component is so critical. I completely reshaped my body doing 30 DS (and kept it up by following with the Ripped in 30 DVD), and it feels GREAT!0

Strength training is critical. True. Cardio can help you lose the weight but muscle helps you retain it. I cans handle the 30 ds though, it got to repetitive for me. I tried it a few years back. If you can afford it, I would suggest turbo fire cause it has dancing, kickboxing, yoga, pylometrics, and stuff. But yea, the 30 ds is really good for your body if you can commit to it!0

I would consider what you think you will enjoy more. I did 30 DS for about 20 days and grew incredibly bored with it. Then I discovered the joy of Zumba and have danced several lbs and inches off!!0

Hate to say it, but trainers would scoff at this. 30DS is more circuit training than strength. Strength training is lifting HEAVY weight. That said, 30DS is still a great workout. Zumba is a lot of fun! After my classes, my arms and abs are always sore. It's a fantastic burn!
