soup is my main one, or crudites with hummus and a ryvita or 2, or sweet potato with a salad (including beans for protein)

I started taking canned soup to work and I really like it.

I also get creative with salads. :)

I do a chicken Salad that I really like. It's a South beach recipe.
a can of chicken. (The recipe calls for Tuna but I like the chicken breast in water better personally)
    1tbsp Mayo
    2Tbsp Fat free sour cream
    1/2 cup Kidney Bean
3 stalks of Hearts of palms.
Loaded with protein, very and you get all the flavor without all the fat because of the sour cream. If I want more carbs I eat it on Ack mak Crackers. (Like Sheet in a Shingle)
    I love this for Lunches!
Also for less Carbs but still Sandwichy feel try the Sandwich things. Holds everything together in a sandwich with less carbs.

    I love this beetroot salad:
Quite some salad (rocket or baby spinach or whatever you like)
40g of chicken fillet fried (this will make you feel full)
Half a cucumber (halved and cut in slices)
75 grams of chickpeas (or beans or whatever you like, really fills you up)
200 gr can of beetroot (I use baby beets, nice and sweet).
Make a dressing by adding a teaspoon of olive oil and a tablespoon of red wine vinegar.
    YUM!

Tuna salad lettuce wraps are a favorite in my house:

    canned tuna
    a stalk of celery
about a tablespoon of dill relish
    a little chopped onion
salad dressing - I usually use a ranch or ceasar, instead of mayo or miracle whip
    salt and pepper

Depending on the salad dressing (I use Brianna's asiago ceasar) its about 265 calories. Plus calories for lettuce leaves to wrap in. Really yummy, but a little messy. I make it in the morning or the night before and take it to work for lunch.

I stick to sandwiches, usually turkey. I really deck mine out with lots of turkey, a slice of cheese, low fat miracle whip and lettuce on bread thats 50 calories a slice, and it comes out to 300 calories. Plus, it keeps me full.

Also, lean cuisine or similar brand dinners (I really like the steamers) are a great choice for around 300 calories for variety, I think makes an excellent lunch you can just grab out of the freezer when you are running late in the mornings. Really yummy!!

I also make chicken salad out of leftover grilled chicken from dinner made at the beginning of the week. I don't like mayo so I use a yogurt honey mustard dressing instead...it's lower calories and fat than mayo and has a zesty flavor. Load it with lots of celery, onion, walnuts, and sometimes craisins. If you put enough veggies in with the chicken, it's more like a salad and I don't find a need to put it in a sandwich.

i like making a honey sandwich..
i get 2 slices whole wheat bread 180 cal
    2 tsp margerine 70 cal
    1 tablespoon honey 60 cal
and then drink a tea with it
