I refuse to remove myself... but not being able to do any exercises that involve standing kinda sucks. I am allowed to do my PT exercises (leg lifts and ab exercises) ... water aerobics and biking thats it...
Next week I plan on trying my first spin class ...0 -
Hooray, I crossed the 10,000 calories mark! I never realized before this challenge how little changes add up. Before I joined this, i never really noticed how many calories I burned, except to get more calories to eat!! Now I realize that 2500 calories is doable in a week for me. I just need to walk my doggies the days I don't work out.:happy:0
-
As you all probably know, it takes 3500 calories burned to lose a pound!!!
I do not usually ever look to see if my chart has been messed with but I know I have been moved to the bottom and then back up before! I enter my calories and then click on the total (which totals itself so I do not even have to enter any numbers). I thought things were going ok with the spreadsheet except for the line with the missing name on it!!
Good job everybody, keeping burning those fat cells!!!0 -
No, vhuber, I didn't know 3500 cals burned=1 lb lost. But I do now,. Thanks, I can use that!:bigsmile:0
-
I am glad you guys are still fighting the good fight!! :flowerforyou:0

Jenny I am trying like heck to stay above water -- but this severe weight restriction from the PT is killing me!!
Next week I might be able to run again ...0 -
I love logging in each day and seeing my total numbers. There have been days when I have worked out only to get my numbers up. Other than that I would have sat on the couch and did nothing. It was crazy that names were deleted and how things move. Open, annotate and then I write down my total and weekly total for personnal records. Thanks for such a great challenge. :-)0

I am sorry to say this but....
over and out!!
I have had to deal with bronchitis the last week or so, and there was no way I could exercise! That, as well as the foot....well, it is time I bail out!
Thanks for having me! It was def fun while it lasted.

Hey guys, been having major family stuff going on over the last fortnight, and while I've been logging and doing what I can (mostly just walking, but better than nothing!) I haven't made it online to enter data. I've just put my numbers in, where relevant. Hope this is ok.

Hey guys! Going by the numbers we are right on track to meet our goal and melt that marshmallow man!
For those who want/need to leave, keep all of your numbers on the page - if you have not lost a life yet - then you can take 2 weeks to heal and try again. You don't have to come back but the option would still be there at that point. If you run out of lives your fight still counts so log what you can while it counts.
On a similar note I have been out for awhile but I still want to see Mr.Stay Puft that perfectly brown crusty color a roasted marshmallow gets. So I'll be around.
Damn, now I want a roasted marshmallow...0 -

Mr. Stay Puft is going down! Sending him a message with this Marshmallow Murder video. You are next Mr. Stay Puft! http://youtu.be/gctM6ibvC_0
Hope everyone is finding ways to get their exercise in. Even getting up and dancing in the living room for a few minutes adds up. Get your boogie shoes on!0 -
Thanks for the video Ash, I needed that :laugh:0

Hey Jenny,
It's getting a bit difficult to add to the chart with so much stuff on it! Would you be opposed to hiding the first 5 weeks cells? They'd still be there, just hidden and it would make it easier to continue updating? Let me know!0 -
I lost another life with Thanksgiving and family visiting last week, so I'm down to just one. But I'll keep trying as long as I can!0

Haha no worries... I took some initiative on that one... it was getting damn near ridiculous to update! haha0 -
Nice job shauna121211, that does make it neater and easier to find my stats. Also, love seeing the totals for the previous weeks like that!0

Hey, isn't great how far we've come? We're gettin' near the end!!
Mr. Stay-Puft is goin' down!!0 -
~250 calories from 1500 this week, so I lost my final life. Sorry, I'm out!0
-
Sorry I have not posted for awhile, it is hard to just get my cals posted each day! Does life EVER slow down???0
-
Hey guys! We are down to the last 3 weeks!!!! We need to have a good push in order to knock the 'shmellow man down. Should we consider a special rally to help us meet our goal? I need opinions.0
-
This challenge has keep me motivated and energized each day to add my calories into the spreadsheet. I even got a better quality HRM to ensure accurate counting (old one was good but wanted better). Thanks again0
-
I don't want to mess with anyone else's spreadsheets, but this week's totals are not adding into the overall total, so I'm assuming, they're not being subtracted from Mr. Marshmallow's total either.0
-
YAY!!! ONE more week of this calorie counting stuff!! I must say I am excited to be over with it!! Have a great burnin week!!!0
-
The spread sheet is up and running again and I know there will still be some logging,,, but it looks like we will be looking more like the Marshmallow man next year He's everywhere I look - even in the clouds!
Ok, all joking aside some of you deserve major props for bringing in big numbers, as well as bringing them in consistently!
Mamabear57, K2Quiere, Tummz02, pennyeclipse, vhuber, w8sarge,grandmawantstolose, -you guys have some awesome dedication to movement!

This was a lot of fun to see the numbers and how much I actually do. I had no idea until I started this. I was a little sad to see it end. Good luck to all of you in 2012!!!0

3 weeks on holidays and 3 strikes and I'm out! lol0
