I do a lot of running now but I would like to target my glutes more and hopefully loose a few inches. I know to do squats and lunges and such but what about cardio please? Thank youuuu!

The glutes are hip extensors, and unfortunately running uses such a small range of motion that it is indeed hard to get them to do much. Try running hills, hill sprints, bleachers, or using the stair stepper for a larger range of extension.

The elliptical! Put it on high resistance.

Stationary bike (or spin class), lift rear end so it's just off the saddle and ride like the wind.

I agree and read about hills are great for the glutes and thighs...:drinker:

I also run but I am new to the gym. I went on the elliptical today and couldn't believe how great it was for the glutes and cardio at the same time! Pump up the resistance and get your position a little low and you will get what you're looking for.
