Ive been having a bad case of the sweet tooth lately.. My husband comes home in a month and I need a small plan to get me cut back down a little. A friend sent me a free 30 day trial and thought Id give it a try! Im usually not a fan of shakes, etc. After this 30 day program, I wont do this any longer0

I use the Visalus shakes, this is what kick started my lifestyle change back in April.
For me though, I couldn't handle 2 shakes a day - I missed chewing at lunch haha!
I use a shake for breakfast now only, but I try to rotate it with other things becuase I think my body was getting to use to the same food everyday.

Too funny! I found the only ones that didn't work well were with apple or pineapple. Any other ones you like alot? I have the same old - either bananas or mixed fruit. Wouldn't mind some new ideas Thanks!

I've been using these shakes off and on - they can be very yummy! Here are a few of my favorite add-ins:
- frozen raspberries or other strong, flavorful fruit
- make coffee ice cubes, add those with a few packets of splenda
- make chai tea ice cubes, add splenda... yummm chai latte shake!
- *low-cal holiday treat* - add in 1/2c to 1cup of 100% pumpkin (libby's, straight from the can, is easy), sprinkle in pumpkin pie seasoning (or some cinnamon and nutmeg, to flavor) plus splenda... and "Poof!* pumpkin pie shake! Super yummy and as an added bonus pumpkin is all sorts of healthy :-)
These end up tasting more like milkshakes - yummy treats - than meals for me, so it's easy to want to drink them! Play around with your favorite flavors :-)

I add 1 t. of instand coffee and 1/2 t. pumpking pie spice... yummy! Also plain shake mix with 1/2 t. of peppermint extract. That is my new fav!! I lvoe that with she sweet cream flavor you can mix in anything and have whatever flavor you want!!0

My thoughts too. Very expensive. Could have the same results with a moderate cal deficit and some strength training0 -

Hi I am a director with ViSalus and am starting a new 90 day health challenge tomorrow. I am looking for people to start with me and check on our progress together. I lost 10 lbs, 19 inches, and 8 points on my bmi for the first 90 days. My blood sugar and cholesteral were normal for the first time in over 25 years. My Dr was very impressed. I have more energy too! So now have to start the working out part.
