what is P90X??? I keep seeing it on posts, I'm assuming it is a workout??? I don't belong to a gym and need to do something. I am at a standstill with the scale, but I don't exercise, either. Can someone fill me in on what this is?

If you go to the top of the message boards you can search PX90. There have been A TON of threads lately on what it is.0

Yeah this IS a workout and I do not think it is for someone who does not exercise! I workout pretty hard at least six days per week and this series is tuff! If you are at a standstill and you are not exercising then that is probably your problem. Take up speed walking for at least a half an hour three times per week and add some weight lifting , lunges, squats and ab work three times per week that should help move the "standstill" and If you want to try the p90x try it but I advise you to borrow it first don't buy it for it is too expensive to waste!! Good luck in whatever you choose but please choose something that you can do and especially something you feel comfortable with!

Its a workout dvd set that promised to get you butt in shape with just exercises and a dumbbell set and a pull up bar. I have not tried it but I have heard good things for it. Google it or look it up on youtube. I have used some biggest loser dvds. Walking is the easiest and cheapest exercise that you can do. Also if you have comcast they have some workout videos to play ondemand that will give you variety or netflix you can have dvds sent to you or watch them on the net. Good luck to you.!0

I was really out of shape when I started (couldn't even do a pushup) ... but I'm doing it and am getting results. It just takes a lot of committment and a HRM telling you to keep going even though you don't feel like you did "enough".
I don't have a pullup bar. I use pullup bands.
And I can do a few pushups now .. once I get wobbly I'll alternate between the couch, my knees, or even the wall to keep moving. But I keep moving so I improve.
It's only my 3rd week but I'll have post-Phase 1 photos by the end of next week ... I'm already excited about everything slimming down and my clothes getting looser.
Anyway, I just wanted to mention that weaklings can do it too. Note: I'm calling myself a weakling, not you.0
