So... this one time... at Boot Camp...

..... I worked my booty off and we had to do these sit-up things with a weight overhead & our arms stretched out. I used a 4 lb. weight and I was going to just half-*kitten* it and do crunches, but I didn't!

Ladies and germs, for the first time since I was 12 years old {that's 20 years ago for you non-math majors}, I did a real sit-up. From laying down with the weight in my arms stretched above my head to sitting up.... smooth as silk. It's like I had always been able to do them. Even when I was 12, I had to have someone literally sit on my feet and hold them down and I grunted and groaned and could barely do a couple to keep my 'A' average in P.E. class.

Tonight, I did these sit-up for 2 whole minutes. I should have counted, but I didn't. I'm going to guesstimate that I did atleast 12 sit-ups, in a row... all by myself. I cried while I was doing them. It seems silly, but I was so proud of myself and so was my instructor!
