Missing days on P90X

First off, I'm throwing out that I'm probably putting WAY too much thought into this.
A question for my fellow P90X fellows! I'm currently in Phase 1 of P90X Lean. Due to an illness last week, I ended up missing 4 days. I also meet a personal trainer once a week and will be working out with a friend 2-3 days a week, so this is going to be an ongoing issue.
Here's my problem. I know the plan works best if you follow it, but with the illness and other workout days, I'm going to miss some, and I don't know what to do. I'm looking for some advice from people who have finished the plan, and people who are still doing it.
For instance, Thursday I was supposed to do Kenpo. Friday was a rest day, Saturday was supposed to be Core Synergetics and Sunday was supposed to be Cardio X.
It's now Monday. Would it be best to do Kenpo and pretend like I didn't miss a day, or should I do Shoulders and Arms, Ab Ripper X , like the schedule says? What do you do?

I'd like to know this two. I've missed a few days, reason being I do boot camp on tues and thurs for the next few weeks and I went away on sunday.
What I have done is replaced my cardio workouts with my bootcamp (they worked out on exactly the right days for the next week. And the sunday I missed I just did it the next night and then caught up on my rest day.
But I'd like to know what everyone else does aswell.0 -
I've missed a few days here and there.
I don't like Yoga so I either take a break on that day or do X-Stretch.
I've missed maybe 3 workouts and am currently on week 8 (not including Yoga).
I don't think too much of it. I was really tired or just in a foul mood, which is to be expected. We're not machines after all.
I also did Insanity right before doing P90X and during the second phase, I wasn't able to do every single day. I would either get really fatigued or just plain annoyed of doing the same videos over and over, but I still lost 15~ pounds and something like 4 inches off my waist.
My advice is just stick to it and take a rest if you really feel that you need it, but not so many that it compromises the point of doing a fitness plan like Insanity or P90X.
(Oh and I started logging on MFP around the end of doing Insanity so my whole progress isn't here.)0 -
Just pretend that you didn't miss a day and push forward0
