Need Support Group!

Hello, I've been a mfp member for about six months now. I have just gotten serious on this journey and realized how important a support group is. I was down to a really good weight for me, 135, but than I got lost in the numbers and discouraged and gained a ton back. Anyone who's got a good chunk to loose please add me; I promise to be supportive and offer any positive feed back I can :)

  • I started a group that focuses on non-scale victories, such as turning down a cookie, running an extra 10 minutes, being able to finally do 10 pushups non-stop, and losing inches - basically, anything that will make you a healthier person! We will have weekly challenges, and I divided people into smaller groups of 4 so they have a close support system (while still having the support of the entire group).

    If you'd like to join, look for us in the groups section under "NSVs challenge groups." Our official start date is Friday, December 9th, and you'll need to post measurements and pictures once you're set up in a group. I divide groups based on height and goal weights.

    That was an excellent idea! I just joined :) What a great idea for a group :)
