I'm new to MFP and I've had this super old scale, that I want to *think* is off by a few pounds. I'm doing good so far on losing weight, I was just looking for recommendations on what type of scale everyone else uses. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!!

it doesnt matter if you keep using your old scale as long as you use the same one for your weigh ins

if your scale is out by a few pounds it wont matter as you will stay on your eating plan until you are comfortable in your body

Yea, I have an old crappy scale that I'm not sure is completely accurate, but it's the only one I use for weigh-ins, so the reading should be consistent from week to week.

I love my Eat Smart scale that I bought thru Amazon. The company (Eat Smart) guarantees them 100%. Very accurate
even compared to the dr's office.

I bought one of those health-o-meter scales at Walmart and I'm thinking it is a piece of junk! I can weigh myself 4 times in a row and have as much as a ten pound swing. I tried changing the batteries but no luck. The weird part is that if i put some weights on it it always seems accurate.

It really sucks getting on and seeing a loss only to find out that the scale is just flaky.

That's exactly like the POS I have. I get all bummed when it shows I haven't lost. I would just continue to use it like everyone's suggesting, but it's totally off. I'll think I haven't lost anything then I weigh my self with my mom's and it show a big loss! So, just looking for recommendations.
