May seem small, but it's a BIG NSV for me!

Ok, so if you knew me personally, or ever went out to eat with me at a place like say, Hometown Buffet, you would know how fond I am of the sweets. I absolutely LOVE desserts and sweet snacks, I could never turn down a dessert or stop eating desserts until I had absolutely stuffed myself so much that not another bite could be forcefully shoved down my throat! :embarassed: So, whenever I had a chance to have something so satisfying to my sweet tooth at any meal I would. Well, this morning I made my 8 year old some chocolate chip pancakes for breakfast, my 4 year old said he didn't want any at the time, but just a short while after we got back home from taking my daughter to the bus stop he insisted I make him some. So, I marched into the kitchen and made him 2 small size pancakes - chocolate chip pancakes......did I mention my love for sweet foods? Anyways, not once, but TWO different times this morning, when I could have easily made me some chocolatey delicious pancakes, I did NOT! Yes, that's my NSV, instead of making me pancakes when I was forced to make them 2 different times in the same day for other people, I CHOSE not to, and instead had my wonderfully delicious apples and oats breakfast, which still satisfies my sweet tooth, but with an apple and oats involved is sooo much healthier than a chocolate chip pancake! And that, to me, is progress
