Starting my new life style

I started my life style change 12-3-11 weighing in at an awful 279 I want to get back to my pre baby size at 145 I am just scared of having loose skin and failing! Ive been working out atleast 30 minutes a day and eating low calorie meals but I am finding myself STARVING!! I dont give into the erge to eat but its hard. This journey will be a long one and I am just looking for people who are or where in my shoes to talk to and motivate each other. All my friends are well thin lol so Im odd man out and need people who are on the same path or has been here :)

  • You can do this! One meal at a time, one foot in front of the other. Just remember it's not a race, but a journey. Make sure you are eating enough calories so you will still lose, but not be so darn hungry. :) And you definitely hit the nail on the head it is a lifestyle change. I will be eating this way and tracking calories in and calories out for the rest of my life. It's okay if it takes a long time, as long as you stay focused and keep that scale moving in the right direction, even if it feels slow. You got this!
  • I just started this today. I remember being starving on weight watchers in the past. Sometimes if you taper down a bit slower to the calorie level they suggest for you to lose it is easier. Are you programed to loose 2 lbs/wk? Maybe change your setting to lose one lb/week at first. Or exercise more to get in more calories. A fast 4mph walk at 10 minutes gave me 98 more calories to spend. That isn't earth shaking but it IS something! Good luck. Don't give up. We can do this.
