I exercise like crazy, but I haven't been able to get rid of the mommy pooch. I have had to two c-sections. I had so much scar tissue from the first c-section that they had to go in slightly above it for the second one. I had an appendectomy back in September that left two additional scars on my lower abdomin and one in my belly button. They were actually cutting scar tissue from my c-sections during my appendectomy. Anyways....I don't have a lot of feeling in my lower abdomin. I do all sorts of core exercises, but I am not even sure that I am doing them exactly right because I have less feeling than a typical person would. Could anyone suggest some really good abdominal exercises to get rid of the pooch? Preferably something that doesn't take equipment. I really want to shed some inches off the belly quickly.

I am a mother of three so I feel your pain on the mommy pooch :grumble:

I read some discouraging information a while back (can't remember where) but it said that because of all the strain/stretching on your muscles during pregnancy it can be virtually impossible to regain the same muscle structure as pre-pregnancy. This is saddening information to any mother trying to regain her pre-children body. Has any one else ever heard of this?

I just started with MFP like 3 weeks ago and haven't gotten to my abs yet - I'm trying to keep up on my cardio while my body adjusts to this change in eating habits and healthier things being put in it. I also am interested in any good exercises tips to help us mothers. HELP! :indifferent:
