Starting Weight (may 1st): 155
Goal weight (may 31st): 150
I am going to up my cardio, running 5 days/week. 5Mile race on 5/09, 5K on 5/23 should help me stay motivated. :bigsmile: I am going to try and eat healthier lunches when i go out with friends from work, they are a bad influence!:ohwell:

Leann: I totally understand! I go out with my fiance and cousin every friday and we go get something horrible! Today is Chili's and I am going with the guiltless grill chicken sandwich! :-) and a cup of enchilada soup (I just cant seem to give that up yet!) What I always end up doing is if I know what restaurant we are going to, I try to find the nutritional values there and find the healthiest thing I can but with some flavor (I hate cardboard). It helps me plan better and eat better as well...0

OK, here's my info:
Current weight: 153
Goal by 5/30: 148
(I want to lose 5 pounds!)
I don't have any specific measurement goals -- I am seeing progress in my measurements when I do them every 2 weeks -- as of yesterday I was down at least an inch in all areas, except for my hips/butt, which stayed the same (I'm ok with that because I like my butt! )
For the cardio challenge I will be walking at least 5 miles a day, and doing My Fitness Coach cardio program as well. Maybe a zumba class or two, as well.

Goal weight, May 31 : 158 lbs.
I had been really good about cardio, but got sick, so my goal for this week will be to get back in the habit of doing 40 min of cardio three times a week at least.0 -

My new goal is 115, but since on average I only lose about 2 pounds per month, I would be very happy to reach 117 by 5/31 :bigsmile: I'm going to focus more on toning this month. :drinker:0 -

My starting weight is 254.5 and my goal weight is 249. If I lose more that will be excellent. Now to find ways to up my cardio without aggravating my feet, hhmmmm :grumble: ...I will see if my bike is in good shape and start there!! :blushing:

here goes! I weighed today and I am at 258.4 pounds. By the end of May I want to be down 10 pounds. So far so good today, its the nights at work that kill me. And tomorrow, a baby shower. JUST SAY NO TO CAKE! lol0

Starting weight: 132.4
Goal weight for end of month: 128.4
I'm thinking that might be a little unrealistic, since I'm only estimated to lose .8 pounds/week, but I'll give it shot!!
I'm currently doing 30 minutes of cardio a day, so I'll try for 40.
I don't have a measuring tape at the moment, but I'll get one and post my measurements later! lol

Yay! I read through and actually found the right thread.
I'm excited to have other folks to keep me accountable.
Starting weight: 136 (which is a bummer bc just two days ago it was 135)
Goal by May 31: 129
Should I aim higher? I've never been below 130 so this would be exciting.
I'm more excited to get more toned arms. That's my non-weight goal.
I'll return with measurements as soon as i locate the tape measure.

Anna: I think your May goal is wonderful :-) If you have never been out of the 130s then yes, it is a reach for you and you are aiming high... besides, that is 7 lbs which is the normal recommendation! Good job and I bought an arm toning exercise video at Target. They have a good selection.0

the first week isn't over yet... so i guess i'm here on time?
this will be my first fitness group so please be gentle with me XD
Starting weight: 129 (i gained a pound 5 days ago with my period and it hasn't come off yet!! :sad: )

oh may 23rd i will be off to England to visit my boyfriend so hopefully the bland British food and tons of walking will help me keep the weight off! (no offense to the UK MFPs)0 -
