when I used to feel that way I would remind my self that at this time I am working on loosing weight, I need to stay a way from food for the time being (as long as I have eaten all my calories for the day) and if I am still hungry its ok because I am supposed to be I am on a diet. Then try to distract my self by watching TV or something, if it is day time, go do something.
I used to also remind my self that the foods I am missing will still be there when I am done, they are not going any where.0 -

drinking water and puttering around the house really helps me...then I remind myself of my goals and visualize myself at my goal weight and how good I will feel

When I decided to get back on track with my weight and fitness, it took me a while to realize that I could feel a little bit hungry (even if I had already eaten) and still be okay. I had gotten used to snacking or eating every time I was the slightest bit hungry. Having scheduled times to eat (every 3-3.5 hours) helps keep me from snacking senselessly. Preplanning what I am going to eat also helps. I also try to drink a bottle of water before I consider giving into a craving. Mio drops in my water really help with sweet cravings. Hang in there and find out what works for you!0

Oh man, I literally *just* said "I'm hungry!!" a minute before seeing this post! I always get hungry at around 9 or 10 pm, even though I've eaten well during the day. Probably comes from years of conditioning myself to snack until one or two am. /o\ Here's to not going down to the kitchen to find something to munch on! Instead, I'm going to tell myself to save it for the delicious breakfast I'll be having in the morning. (I love breakfast!)0
