The best time to exercise is when you feel like it. I don't think it matters if it's in the morning or evening. You just need to do it when it is convenient.0

My body is most awake and ready to exercise ~ 4:30pm. I give it more when I exercise then, compared to early morning or lunch, so I say listen to your bod.0

Get it out of the way 1st thing, if you can. Things will always find a way to "get in the way".0

I do it at night after dinner clean up kids baths and bedtime for them around 930pm I don't necessarily want to do it then but that is the only time unless I get up at 5am lol (so not going to happen) I do an hour of cardio excercise, If by chance I have time throughout the day when the kids aren't screaming or hubby is home to watch them I do my strength excercise which include sit ups push ups crunches leg lifts and some other core strengthening things I have learned. You have to just do it, because otherwise you won't, and at least for me, if i just go do it, when I am done I feel great! and accomplished. So that is how I get started I just do it! Good luck0

Sorry to post this on your thread but let me say Congrats this is the first person I have seen who has hit their goal. CONGRATS!0 -
There is no best time for exercise...you do it when you can and/or when you have the energy to make it worth it.

Listen to your body and also find your own way. There is a city gym near me with individual TV's on the treadmill. I lost 50 lbs. exercising at 7, 8, or 9pm. Instead of being a couch potato for my favorite TV shows, I walked the treadmill through my favorite shows. Time flew by because I was really following the shows, not stressing over "having to" walk.0

Whenever you feel like it. During the week I do it at 7:00 in the evening. That's when I have the time. On the weekends its in the early afternoon. Good luck in finding the time that works for you!0

I do best in the late morning/early afternoon because by evening I have very little evergy left, and I am NOT a morning person.0

I would like to suggest that you comit to workout three times a week no less than 45 minutes each time. That is whatever your workout is and whenever. Once you comit, stick to the plan as if it is an appointment, like taking the kids to the doctor. Good luck!0

I think you wrote that you would like to workout in the morning. I started doing that a few months ago. I just started walking up 15 min earlier for a couple of days. Of course, that would help me go to sleep earlier. By the end of the week, I was able to alter my sleep schedule to get in a 45 min. workout before work.
Good luck!0
