inaccurate scales?

I got scales the other day and i was shocked at the difference from my last weigh-in. My last weigh-in was 109lbs and now my new scales say i'm just over 103.
I feel no different and have only lost a tiny bit from my waist/thigh etc. Could my scales be inaccurate? What are some accurate, good, inexpensive scales?

occasionally older scales can give inaccurate readings. i have also noticed that different locations within my own home give me a different weight. i had to move my scale to the kitchen of all places to get my scale to say the same thing that my dr.'s office says.0
