I can't believe that Pontiac isn't making any more cars....they used to make a pretty righteous automobile back in the day.:brokenheart: Although there have been more than a few "turkeys" in their lineup lately....it's kind of sad to see another good old American company go down the tubes. I think I may incorporate that theme into my car's new paint job somehow.

I own a 1969 GTO.... that car and it's just sad that there probably won't be a car like that ever again.

    ohhh a GTO that's awesome :)

I own a 2004 Grand AM. Its a nice car but has some blind spots I'm not too thrilled over but over all its a decent vehicle once I got the engine replaced last year. Had an engine coolent leak when I bought it, and it never got noticed until the engine blew up :grumble: then the battery went on it, and the air conditioner no longer worked. My co-worker seems to think that they forgot to plug the the electrical wire back in. The guy I took it too wanted to put in a new compressor, and I'm like I'll think on that and took it to a different garage. There's nothing wrong with the compressor. I'm not going back to that place :grumble: He probably thought because I'm a girl, I'll believe anything he says. I'm not blind honestly

Kind of sucks. I always liked the Pontiac line be it the Tempest, LeMans, GTO or a T/A Firebird. I have owned two Pontiacs and loved them both. The first one was a `79 Grand LeMans- ugly metallic green with a light tan vinyl top. It was really a good car and never had the first problem with it. I currently own a Pontiac Vibe- not really a Pontiac since it is a Toyota Corolla with a different body. I call it a 'Ponti-yota' This one is like the old Grand LeMans though, it's an ugly car!

Why couldn't GM invest monies in a GTO re-birth worthyy of being called a GTO instead of a Camaro.

    R.I.P. Pontiac. It's been a good run!

I'm sad over this too. I've always been nostalgic when it comes to cars. Pontiac has had some nice ones that you've all listed. I hate to see a part of Americana go. I was sad when they got rid of the Olds line too.

Dusty, I own a vibe to. I like it for the gas mileage and for me it's a pretty comfortable car. A good basic transportation car.

GTOgirl, I hope you'll be able to keep yours for a long time. It'll be even more special now.

And I have to say that I like the look of new Dodge Charger but I really think the new Camero is ugly and I've always liked Cameros.
