If you pray

Please pray for my daughter in law and son. She is 37.5 weeks pregnant. Doctor said yesterday at 4A:30 if her blood pressure is still high on Friday morning she will induce. All seems okay and don't expect any problems.
However, they both work at the same place and when she told the boss this morning she was very rude and slamming things cause they will be out! HELLO you have known since April this could happen.
She said they should have told her last night so she could get someone in there to work. It is a very small vet and there are only two other employees. There was other things they were concerning about getting ready last night and assumed since she is a grown woman with a child she knew she could be out at a moments notice and already had someone set up to work with it did happen.
She then gets on the phone and tells her husband that he can break the BAD NEWS to their daughter that the baby may be born tomorrow and she will have to work. I find this very insenstive to say it is bad news - just because her daughter will have to work on her break from school. It may be bad news to the daughter that she has to work but she could have worded it a little better and at least faked some happiness.
She have been very insenstive during the whole pregancy for no reason. My daughter in law has not missed one day of work and even offered to come in tomorrow morning at regular time of 7:15 and work until her appointment at 8:45.
This woman has my blood boiling as this is not helping her blood pressure. What a #*%^
Anyways if you pray please pray that everything goes good and this woman lightens up some.

DEFINATALLY praying... wow....
the only thing I can think of ...as to this woman's utter rudeness, is depending upon her age, might she had a misscariage or something recently? Not to excuse her rudeness, but that popped in my head as I was reading. Sometimes the reasons behind someone's terrible attitude are deep seated hurts that have nothing to do with the person it's directed at. It does NOT excuse that person of course! But sometimes it helps those involved to be able to deal with the stress a little better. She SHOULD be HAPPY and SUPPORTIVE for her and her husband... and not this way... will be praying!!!!!0 -
Sorry to hear that you're going through this. Keep in mind, though, that the community guidelines prohibit religious discussions in the main forums. Unfortunately, they tend to go south quickly as well.
I don't know what your religious persuasion may be, but there are some religion-themed groups, and some have prayer request threads. Check them out: http://www.myfitnesspal.com/groups
I wish you and your family the best. :flowerforyou:0 -
Thanks everyone - she can no longer have children. Her daughter who is in college now was born premature and has CP which slightly affects her arm.
She is a very selfish person. My son who works there too had a detached retina since the pregancy and had to have two surgeries to save his eye. My daughter in law still just missed the day of the surgery and I took off of work and stayed with him as needed. When she was attempting to tell her about one of his follow up appointments she interrupted her saying "Just tell me can he come back to work tomorrow" The sugeries were very serious and recovery was long and he had to keep his head down at all times for 10 days after each surgery and couldn't drive for months. She did not even call or text the day of the surgery to see if they were able to save his eye.
Sorry to vent but this woman is just too much!0
