I want to get the most out of this elliptical. It raises to 25 degrees. lets say that i do 10 min on this 25 degrees and at resistance 4 how do i log it on MFP?? Its like doing stairs right or like stair treadmill?? what do you think?

Does your machine not have a display that tells you how many calories you've lost during your workout? All the ones I've seen do. If so, you just log it under cardiovascular as elliptical trainer & then fill in how many minutes & calories you did.
EDIT: If your machine doesn't, then I would just fill in the minutes and MFP will automatically fill in the calories, it's usually somewhat accurate.

yeah it does...it does not match mfp...also if i change the intensity and the incline im bound to burn more calories. i was just wondering what i should mark it down as.

From what I've seen and experienced MFP's elliptical numbers are *much* higher than actual calories burned. Their running numbers are closer, but elliptical is way off.

yes i agree 100%. i found that out tonight! I just bought a HRM and it showed on MFP i was burning 141 calories for 20 min on the elliptical when i actually only burnt 85, so all those exercise calories i had been eating back were wayyyyy to many! that's why i am not losing a single pound!!! GRRR! the treadmill showed on MFP 188 and i only burnt 92 and same with circuit training, MFP showed 225 and i only burnt 147. so in the end i only burnt 325 NOT 554!~
