I want to punch my scale in the face!

I always have to weigh myself multiple times in one go because, as the case was today, my scale likes to change its mind. Today it weighed me anywhere between 161 and 167. I finally settled on 166 because it showed up the most times! Does this mean it's time for a new one?

Try putting in new batteries if it still does the same thing, I'd say it's time for a new one!0

I had the same problem with my old one. I went with a digital scale. It helped a ton. I will probably have to replace it again soon because we only got a really cheap ($20) from Target. That was 3 months ago and I can step on it 5-6 times in a row with the same result down to the tenths.0

:noway: <-- this made me giggle. i'm pretty sure that's what my scale says every time I step on it! LOL0

There are probably a lot of people that feel the same way -- and I don't think it has anything to do with how the scale is displaying the weight. LOL!!!0

Yea cause then it would be looking up my skirt all the time!0 -
My scale will do that occasionally. So at my weigh in I weigh myself 3 times the first time it sometimes says a weird weight and the 2nd and 3rd time it says the same weight (obviously different from the first). I have had it for probably 2-3 years without changing the batteries... I guess I might want to try that too.0

I used to say that my scale had multiple personalities because it did the same thing. Bought a new one and it still happens occasionally, but this one is much more consistant.
And I LOVE the title of the post, by the way. I lol'd. And I needed a little laugh tonight so thank you! :laugh:0 -

You actually weigh yourself with clothes on???:noway:0 -
I'm glad I made people laugh with the title. I will try changing the batteries, which I've never done, and see if that works!0

Your weight can flucuate as many as 7 LBS per day. That's why it is best to try to weight yourself around the same time ever week.0

Yeah, try the new batteries. If that doesn't work, try a new area of flooring, like another room or different paur rt of the room. The flooring might be off and it might be throwing your scale off.
I once weighed myself in the kitchen and it was 7# off. I was thrilled until I realized it lied to me0 -
