Yes! I love snacks . . . and I feel I stay healthier and lose more when I eat more frequently and spread the calories out a little instead of in 3 meals.
For snacks I eat:
a lot of fruit
yogurt
string cheese
nuts (almonds are my favorite)
carrots
celery (sometimes with peanut butter)
I also keep a few varieties of the 100 calorie packs (cookies, chips, pretzels, etc) around in case I am really craving something sweet or salty.0 -
In between meals i have a small side salad or some fruit like grapes, strawberry's, oranges or apples.....any fruit you like. I also love sugar snap peas, which is very low in calories (33 cals per 100g)
Hope this helps you.

I get little snack bags and fill them with snacks that I can grab that are less than 200 calories. Otherwise I could grab the TIN of almonds and eat half the can mindlessly.
Fiber one bars
A container of yogurt with 1/2 cup regualr all bran taped to it
24 almonds
small banana
6 dried apricots
half a cup of blueberries (with yogurt and all bran)
2 Meseli crackers with 2 TBSP of sugar free jam
one cup sliced fresh strawberries----good with the yogurt and all bran
2 slices of 34-40 calorie bread with 2 Tbsp of Cream cheese(keeps better in wrapper with saran wrap and 2 Tbsp of sugar free jam
steamed bag of edamame
Wow didn't realize I had so many snacks!!0 -
I eat 5 to 6 small meals a day. 2 to 3 of those are snacks. Some are.....
4 turkey pepperoni, 1 RF cheese stick, 3 RF Triscuts (sometimes this is lunch)
Fiber One Bar
Rice Cakes
SF Pudding cup
SF Jello cup
Hard boiled egg
Handful of grapes
Orange or apple
Applesauce Lite
Smart Food High Fiber Popcorn
100 calorie snack popcorn
and more...
I stay away from the 100 calorie packs of cookies and such as they have no nutrional value to me and they really just make me want more. They don't satiate my sweet tooth, they initiate it. LOL
Good Luck! :glasses:0 -

I've just started my dieting plan. I eat 2 snacks daily. I really like low fat string cheese, apples w/1 tbsp reduced fat peanut butter, almonds, hard boiled egg. For my sweet tooth, I make ice cream sandwiches with 1 chocolate graham cracker broke in half w/light whip cream between and frozen. They're fantastic!!! Good luck.:flowerforyou:0

I don't usually eat snacks in between my meals. I feel better without the snacks. It's up to you to figure out how your body functions best. If you decide to eat snacks, keep them natural (fruit, veggies, yogurt, nuts) and not anything processed.0
