I've had this comment along with many others regarding my "loss" lately. In the past 2 months or so I haven't really lost much at all I've just kind of yo-yoed but amazingly enough people have told me that I'm "shrinking" about to "dissappear" and I wonder why they say that if I haven't lost much weight lately.

A co-worker told me yesterday that it's probably my skin catching up with my loss. Could this be a possiblity and that is why people have mentioned my loss so much lately? I think my face does look smaller BUT my skin is loose everywhere else. LOL! (sigh...)

Just wondering what your thoughts are.

Thank you!

Hey, twinkie! I feel the exact same way! In the past few months I've pretty much just lost and gained the same ol 3 lbs over and over, but I keep getting the same comments. Are u lifting weights? I am, and I'm thinking that my body composition may be changing because of that. If you're lifting weight, then that may be the reason the scale isn't changing but your physique may be. Either way, take the compliments and run!!!!

One thing is that you've been working out a LOT, so you might be losing inches even when the scale doesn't move.

You've also gone over the 50 pound mark, which is usually when people REALLY start to notice. There comes a point when you've lost so much, that people are shocked when they catch a glimpse of you and don't recognize you, or you wear a more fitted shirt and they can't believe how small your waist is. You might not have lost anything for a week or two, but the 56 pounds is still shocking, because they saw you heavier for so long.

No matter what, feels good, right?

You are shrinking! And you definitely look fantastic.

I've been the same way for months now. Lose a little, gain it back, lose some more... I haven't made any real progress in a while. Instead of wearing my old baggy, oversized clothes, I do wear some outfits that actually fit my size, now. That's probably when I hear the most compliments.

Keep up the awesome work! You're such an inspiration!

I love those kind of comments. Its a great booster when you are working hard to get fit. Think "I'm getting fit" and stop thinking "I'm loosing weight." The two are not synonymous and if you are working out you are doing the second, not the first.

Omg this is the answer I've been looking for.

    Thank you!

I have been going up and down over a small percent of weight gain and loss.
I'm exercising, counting my calories, being really good with the vodka  My weight loss seems really slow.

My clothes sizing is really off. I've gone from a size 18-20 to a 16-14. I have gone down a jeans size, and they are still loose. I bought a size 14 jumper and cardigan the other day.

My going out tops are all loose and bagging on the shoulders, under the arms and across my back. A new Top has arrived in a size 16, I'm hoping it will be o.k for the office Christams party. Even that feels loose, but I feel good in it.
