Rethinking cancelling the gym

Okay, so.. I was just about to cancel my gym membership because I have just recently started running and messing around with my free weights/kettlebell at home, and I find that a lot easier than lugging my butt to the gym. However... I realize a LOT of you are getting great results with lifting, and I just don't know if I can do that myself at this time without the help of machines or bars (I just have dumbbells). Or maybe even a personal trainer a few times to make sure I am getting my form right.
I want to experience good weight loss, tone, and definition like the strong ladies I see on here, who so far have motivated me quite a bit!
If you have any good blogs or tips for someone starting out trying to be serious and safe about weightlifting, please link me up!
Also, I just wanted to say thanks for making me reconsider. :O

I would honestly go to the gym, and have a trainer get you on a healthy lifting routine and show you proper form... Good luck!0
