Hey all

I'm trying to find some chewable multivitamins that have as many vitamins and minerals in as possible.

I've found Centrum's -> ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/Centrum-Chewable-Multivitamin-Tablets-Orange/dp/B003G4BP9C ) but they're quite expensive... (I'm a student) so just wondering if anyone knew of any cheaper multivits that are just as good?

...also they need to be available in England, as that's where I live

...and also, I'm not using them so I can skip meals, I'm not necessarily trying to lose weight, I just don't get enough of the good stuff! :)

Thanks for the help :flowerforyou:

  • At wal-mart - OneSource Active Kids Complete (has instructions for adults too)

120 Tabs for less than 8 bucks....
  • I'm not sure the exact price but I buy adult gummy vitamins. I love the way they taste and if you go to target they have generic brand that are about 1/2 as much as the name brand ones.
  • I have Solutron from GNC. It's great!

I should say, I'm from England, so I don't have a Walmart or a Target that I know of :)

Surely any Multivitamin is good for you if it has the stuff you need, regardless of where you get it from or how much it costs?

I eat two of the kids type - Equate from WalMart - just something to fill in some potential gaps.

I am not real big on supplementation .
  • To get the added nutrients from a chewable tablet where ever you are just go look for children's tablets and take double dose of it

If you're eating a pretty balanced diet, it's not that critical which vitamin you eat. If you're on a severely limited diet due to medical issues, some of the kids chewables aren't sufficient in things like vitamin K and selenium.

There are chewable prenatal vitamins in the US that are prescription-only, but most insurance covers them. The recommendations are for all women of childbearing potential to be on folic acid. (The risk of severe birth defects is cut in half by taking folic acid, but you have to be on it from about the time you are first missing your period for it to help. Too many people miss out when they wait until they know they are pregnant to start vitamins.)
