Is this considered a plateau? Slow weight loss?

Since October until now I have lost about 5-6lbs. I have been doing my same routine of running and eating the same foods with the same calories. My weight-loss is beginning to slow down. Back around June-September I was losing at least 1.5lbs - 2lbs a week continuously.

Should I up my calories and take a week break in working out?

Do you think you have much left to lose? Between September and now I have lost 6lbs but am only aiming for 14lbs altogether. As long as the overall trend is downwards, I don't mind if it takes months. It's normal for loss to slow down as you reach your natural weight, I think.

Great job on your loss so far! Try mixing up your exercise and dietary routines. It sounds as though your body has gotten used to you doing the same thing. I'm finding it harder to get my heart rate up as I get fitter and closer to my goals. Good luck.

A plateau is when you go for a period of time, usually a month or more and you don't lose any weight.

Your body is used to doing the same thing. We are in the same stage. For the last week I have changed my workout routine and I am losing again...i thiink. lol. I'll know on Tomorrow.

How many calories are you eating now? Mix up your workout and/or increase calories but include "good" calories like protein calories. I really believe mixing things up helps my weightloss.
