I've been dieting but I haven't lost any weight!

I've been dieting for two weeks. Two eggs for breakfast and salads for lunch and dinner around 1500 or less (mainly low carb) but the scale is not moving. What am I doing wrong?

My progress has been very slow as well. I have been at it for 4 or 5 weeks now. Managed to lose 3 pounds. So in reality, I guess that is not so bad. My problem is exercise. I need to increase that and I am sure my weight will begin to go faster.

    Are you doing any exercising?

Could be your metabolism has adjusted to your diet. It takes about 3 days to adjust- amazing, isn't it? If you aren't exercising already, I'd suggest you do some to increase your metabolism. As your muscle builds, increase the amount you're eating by 100-200 calories a week.
  • I haven't really been exercise, but my doctor told me that 90% of losing weight is what you eat. I've kind of been sticking to that, and I haven't really foucsed on working out.

Sure, it's all about calories in vs. calories out. But looking at the situation objectively, if what you're doing now isn't working, then you should change it until you find something that DOES work.
