I've recently lost 20lbs and Im looking to lose 50 more. The first 20 was lost due to diet alone with the occasional run on the treadmill. But I find evercise to be SOOOO boring. Im joining a gym with a couple of friends and I'm wondering where can I get the most results, I dont want to lose all this weight and have a bunch of skin hanging around but I know I cant commit to working out hardcore weights and cardio 7 days a week 4 hours a day. But what I can commit to is 3 days a week and 1 hour a day. Is there an inbetween? What can I do to get the results Im looking for. Im not looking to be ripped, I just want my skin to snap back with me.

Anything is better then nothing in my opinion! Just do some cardio and some strength/weights. Whatever you feel comfortable with (yet something that challenges you).0

Any thing that you like to do. That way you keep doing it.0

can i ask who told you you need to workout 4 hours a day?0

oif you were to go to a gym that had all the options in the world for a one hour workout session, what would you choose to do? what kind of class would you take? would you take a class or take a personal training session? i can help you choose the right workout for you to get to your goal0

yeah, neither can i. :-/
the best work out plan is the one you can stick to. personally, if you get bored at a gym such as myself, then head outdoors. i started by riding my bike everywhere. i would do so many miles on my bike. in the month of october i did over a hundred miles on my bike. now i like to run outdoors. random routes, scenery, people watch. its fun.
and if you live near a park, well, then go there and do body weight routines, like push ups, squats, lunges, etc.0 -
The best workout is one you enjoy. Find something you love and do it. This way you'll stick with it.0

I'd suggest finding several different cardio activities you like and rotate them. I like to swim, and I also like the ergonometer, treadmill, and stationary bike--so I rotate these. I'm not so fond of the rowing machine; but will do it on occasion, too. So find things you like and mix them up!0

Have you tried zumba? It's really fun!0

The exercise you need depends on where you carry most of your weight. The main thing I can tell you to avoid the excess skin is to try to lose it slowly and take breaks to go on maintenance. Allow your skin periods to catch up to you.0

Yoga in my opinion is just great! Of course it's up to you, whatever you find entertaining and result baring. If you're interested in yoga though, some sessions definitely give you a workout! Others are gentle and refreshing!0
