Do I need any equipment for 30 Day Shred?

I'm thinking of doing the 30 Day Shred, but before I go out and get it I wanted to know if I need to get any weights, resistance bands, mats, etc.

    And maybe a mat to lie on if you're on hard floors - also Jillian Michaels herself recommends wearing good shoes as it requires a lot of impact jumping (get used to jumping jacks).

    A mat really helps, we have carpet... and my husband was trying to do the second set with me and he couldn't stop slipping on the floor, it was kinda funny, lol.

    Jillian & the girls use 5lbs weights. It depends on how in shape you are. I'm using 2lb weights because I've never done strength training before this video. From what I've heard, the majority seems to go for 3lbs.
