Heart rate monitors

I really want a heart rate monitor for Christmas! I read such mixed reviews of them though when I research online, so I figured who's better to ask than my friends on MFP? :)

What hrm do you use? Are you happy with it? Can you input information on them so your cals burned are accurate?

    Polar FT40. I am very happy with mine. You can enter all your info.

    Polar FT7.. Easy to use and I love it! I have the strap in the washing machine as I type this... important to wash it often, so it works well and doesn't get icky.
