I must've gone thru three digital kitchen scales already. They all stopped working after awhile & those little button batteries are annoying to buy & replace. I just bought an Oneida digital scale & we'll see how this one does.
Has anyone found a reliable one? Maybe one with a power card or that uses normal batteries? :grumble:

My personal favorite! And their customer service is fantastic should you have any problems later on down the road!

I actually use a digital postal scale. (does the same job)...and it comes with a plug for the wall. Got it on ebay for $15

    Escali Primo Multifunctional Scale

I've had this one for a while, and it works great! I think it even uses AAA batteries.

Whoops! The Escali uses two AA batteries, not two AAA batteries. My bad!

But seriously, if I could find a postal scale, I would use that. That sounds so cool!

the postal scale takes 2 AA too and came with the cord. I just got it about a month ago and I'm still using the batteries that came included so I would say it has good battery life. I use my scale at practically every meal these days. Check it out! eBay is a godsend!
