Trainer holiday tip/gift?

Hope this is the right forum, if not please forgive me.
Is it common to tip your personal trainer or get them a small gift for the holidays?
Quick background....The trainer I go to is not through my gym. It is someone I met through doing a weekly boot camp and my previous employer and when I left the compnay, I started going to her one-on-one.
I'm not sure what is acceptable (if anything) to give. I'm leaning towards a nice bottle of wine and AmEx gift card?
Anyone have any insigt on this? Thanks in advance!

Donuts.
Kidding. Although it would be kinda amusing.
I have no idea. A nice bottle of wine is always good in my opinion though!0 -

If you've gotten to know her really well then a bottle of wine is probably a good idea (assuming you know she drinks). I wouldn't do the Ax gift card though - maybe get a wine glass and some bath salts (the idea being that she gets to relax and enjoy the wine). If she has a little one then a small toy (or sticker book etc.) and that adds the personal touch.
If you don't know her all that well, or if she doesn't drink, then make a donation in her name to a local charity (food bank, shelter, children's charity). I find that is a good way to show that you made an effort to do something personal, instead of just handing out a gift card.0
