I need to really loose weight the "healthy way." I started exercising & eating good about a year ago. I lost 25 pounds  unfortunately, I had massive knee surgery & another minor surgery in the last 5 months. Therefore, I have put on 14 of my 25 pounds back on b/c of being on bed rest basically since December. I actually injured my knee while working out like a mad woman, can you belive it?! I need help! Any easy on the knee exercises out there?! I usually walk/jog or work out to a DVD...

Hi and welcome to MFP! While your knee is recovering consider weight training. Intense upper body workouts will help develop lean muscle which burns more calories than cardio. This will give your knee a chance to heel, give you lean muscle, and continue to burn calories. Good Luck! :flowerforyou:

Welcome, I was going to suggest the same as fitnessperfection just did... weight training will help build muscle and turn your body into a calorie burner naturally. Just be careful if you are new to this and start with light weights. Good luck!
