I have gained back most of the weight that I lost 2 years ago and am so aggravated at myself. I just quit and i was feeling good about wearing new clothes and about how I looked-I think I just got lazy. I want my health back and to not get winded when I bend over to put on shoes! Looking for friends for support .

here are a few tips that I found to work for me:
1. Make MFP your home page
2. Log in EVERYDAY, read the message boards post.. Keep your mind actively thinking about it.
3. Don't try to change too much at once, Implement 1 change every week or so. Little tweeks over time seem to work best or at least better than but load of change all at once
4. Always be honest. We al fall on our way to the top, be honest, no one is judging you here... we all support eachother
5. Keep trying new things until you find what works for you (It took me a while to find my plan and it works great for me but I wouldn't push it on anyone else)
6. Its easier to lift weights than the burdens of carrying weight.
7. take it one day at a time.
8. Have a cheat day or meal, where you eat what you want
9. Try to talk to yourself as if you are talking to your child or loved one. Often times the thing we need most is to be a better friend to ourselves.
10. Smile.0 -
Welcome to MFP, this is a great place to come for help, encouragement, and a lot of support. We are all here for the same reason and will all help the best we can. Be positive, you can lose the weight. I like Apazman's list of what worked for him, find your list and follow it. Good luck, feel free to add me as well.0

Same here..This is the Fourth time I have been off track in the last 3 years. Each time we start all over again we fell the pain. I hope MFP will help me to stay on track this time. Shedding the extra pounds was was not that difficult compared to staying focused and hanging in there..:) . I will make sure I logon to MFP each and every day for all the motivation that i need.0

I know all about the weight creeping up for no particular reason as soon as you turn 30. I was skinny all my life and could eat whatever i liked.... and then my body turned on me. Feel free to add me.0
