farting? (may be TMI)

okay so I used to neveeeer fart, now I fart at least 30 times a day.
Is this unhealthy?
They are loud, but generally stink free.
It can be so embarassing :/

    maybe you are eating lot of fiber. nothing wrong w/ body's natural function. you can take "beano" or papaya enzyme if you want to control too much passing gas. i do admire your frankness about this tmi.
  • If you're eating a lot of fruits ,veggies and grains its probably just the fibre. =)

    Are you eating lots of grains? Cut out the grains and see. Grains are very hard to digest. So something is going on in your digestive system.

    actually the same thing happened to me when I started eating fiber one bars,,,, It could be fiber.

    When I started adding protein shakes and when I upped my fiber intake I had a lot more gas. Fortunately my body adjusted, plus I found that drinking a lot of water seems to counter and prevent it too.

    Farting is actually a good sign of a healthy digestive system.... I once asked an LPN bc my fiance farts all the freaken time and she said it's a sign of a healthy digestive system.

    I disagree thou!!! He don't eat healthy @ all. I know if ya eat alot of veggies it'll give ya gas!
